The first day after a tint is the most important stage for colour development. During this time, the tint is still setting, and exposure to moisture, heat, or oils can affect how well it bonds to the hair.
KEEP THE AREA COMPLETELY DRYFor the first 24 hours, clients should avoid washing their face with hot water, steam rooms and saunas, swimming or gym sessions, heavy sweating or facials
AVOID OILS AND CREAMS
Oil-based cleansers and moisturisers can break down the tint and shorten its lifespan. Recommend clients use gentle, water-based products around the eye and brow area, especially within the first day after tinting.
HANDS OFF THE BROWS AND LASHESRubbing, touching, or sleeping face-down can cause friction and remove tint pigment. These actions are a big NO. Encourage clients to avoid touching their lashes or brows and to sleep on their back the first night if possible.
