Korean Lash Lift vs. Traditional Lash Lift
What's Actually Different?
Both treatments lift and curl your natural lashes from the root, no extensions involved. The difference is technique — specifically, how the lash is processed.
Traditional Lash Lift The lifting solution is applied from the root to the middle of the lash. This creates curl and lift closer to the base, with the tips retaining more of their natural fall — a slightly softer, more classic finish.
Korean Lash Lift The lifting solution is applied the full length of the lash, root to tip. This gives a more uniform curl across the entire lash, including the ends — the lift reads as more even and pronounced from base to tip.
At SORA, our Korean Lash Lift also uses a keratin-infused lash lift system — not standard at every salon offering "Korean Lash Lift." The keratin conditions the lash as it lifts, so you're walking out with strengthened, healthier-feeling lashes on top of the curl itself. Applied as the final step after your lift and tint, this treatment works into the lash to help reduce breakage and support new growth, using a blend of turmeric extract, nourishing plant oils, keratin, and hyaluronic acid — leaving lashes feeling noticeably fuller, firmer, and more flexible. It's a regenerative, hydrating formula designed to work at the strand level, and it's commonly used as the finishing step after a lash lift, brow lamination, or tint.
Why add it to your lift and tint? Your lash lift opens and reshapes the lash; your tint adds colour and depth. BTX/Filler is the step that looks after the lash itself — rebuilding hair health from root to tip for stronger results over time, so what you're left with isn't just curled and coloured, it's extra-conditioned. A note on Hybrid Tint: this is our HD option for clients who want more defined, filled-in brows — it tints the skin as well as the hair, so sparse patches and gaps read as fuller and more solid. The skin stain lasts longer than our Classic Tint, sitting for around 7–10 days, so it's best for clients who want that bolder definition to hold between fills.
